Who We Are
FH Services, LLC is a specialized consulting practice led by Josh Hasty, Ph.D., a protein industry veteran whose career spans Cargill, Blue Buffalo, and Tyson Foods. The firm brings executive-level science and operational experience to clients across human edible, further processing, ingredient, and pet food categories.
Our work is grounded in real industry relationships and hard-won category knowledge. Whether the challenge is new product development, ingredient system optimization, by-product program design, food safety infrastructure, or positioning a product for a major retail buyer, we bring the same depth of scientific rigor and commercial pragmatism to every engagement.

The Team
Principal, Protein Systems Consultant
Josh Hasty, Ph.D. is the founding principal of FH Services, LLC and the architect of every client engagement. His career spans the full protein value chain, from raw material optimization and product design through commercialization, retail channel execution, and food safety systems. He has worked across human edible, fresh meat, further processing, and pet food categories, giving him a rare cross-functional perspective that most specialists simply cannot offer.
Josh served as the primary technical beef partner for McDonald's North America during his tenure at Cargill, managing one of the most demanding customer relationships in the protein industry. He then moved to Blue Buffalo as a Senior Scientist, leading pet food commercialization before joining Tyson's Ingredient Solutions Group, where he rose from Director of FSQA to Director of Research and Development. His retail experience includes product development work with Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, Kroger, Safeway, and Albertsons, making him equally fluent in the language of the plant floor and the retail buyer's office.

Principal, Project Operations
Seasoned engineer with deep experience across engineering, operations leadership, and commercial execution within protein systems. Background includes system design, plant operations, project management, and sales leadership for MSC and wet pet food products at Tyson Foods, with a focus on aligning operational capabilities with market-driven value creation. As CEO of MnD International, JP also provides FH Services clients with expanded access to supply and market channels for raw materials and finished goods.
